In order to keep on guaranteeing a correct distribution towards their partners, our client is now looking for a (m/f) WAREHOUSE MANAGER Job description The Warehouse Manager for the European Distribution Center, reporting to the EMEA Director of Supply Chain, is responsible for: * Leading, coaching and motivating a team of approximately 50 people, operators as well as office based people; * On-going review and monitoring of performance against established key performance indicators; * Ensuring inventory in-transit is minimised and inventory maintained accurately within the distribution centre; * Leading distribution centre interface with markets served and customer services related to those markets to promote class-leading service; * Agreeing, monitoring and developing productivity, cost and service improvement plans to maximise best use of resources whilst maintaining key performance indicators; * Ensuring all expenditure is within agreed budget or agreed variances; * Consistently reviewing, refining and improving procedures applied within the Distribution Centre; * Managing exceptions to normal operating procedures; * Liaising with other distribution centres to share best practise; * Preparing reports to agreed format for consideration at mid-monthly review meetings; * Establishing and managing on-going relationships with service provider(s).
