Nascom is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As such, you will develop, publish and implement test plans for applications and websites throughout the full software development lifecycle. It is your task to estimate the Quality Assurance (QA) effort for a project, write and maintain test automation, test tools, procedures, scenarios, scripts, methodologies, documentation, and publish test results, as well as interpret and discuss them with your project manager and the customer. You develop overall quality assurance standards on a project portfolio level, and define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. You are responsible for the overall success of testing and will establish the purpose and deliverables of the test effort. You will assume the technical QA leadership role. You are responsible for the design, implementation and execution of testing in accordance with the test plan specifications that you develop. You will also grow the QA maturity level at Nascom by creating an effective QA methodology, using a variety of toolsets. You will independently set up and reuse clear test conditions that will be used for future projects. You ensure that all work carried out meets or preferably exceeds the project performance, reliability and quality goals. You are able to define, delegate and oversee the execution of QA tasks to our third party testing partner, standardizing our cooperation and way of working. You will work from our head-office in Genk. You will be part of the Delivery team, a group of 40 people. A good collaboration is the key to success, not only within the Delivery team but also with analysts, project managers and customers. Working closely with development during all stages of a project is essential to provide in process testing results. You will record and report on testing metrics.
