Passionate PHP/Drupal Developer
Nascom is looking for a web developer to join our existing team. You will mainly work on Drupal projects, but also on PHP projects and several API integrations (Youtube, Twitter, LastFM, …).
You’re a PHP developer who has a good understanding of the Drupal core system (knowing which hooks to use) and the most frequently used modules (CCK, views, internationalization). You are able to create a good analysis of your projects to divide it into different tasks/modules and to foresee bottlenecks and shortcomings in an early stage. You’re a pragmatic programmer, preferring to start from an existing solution, but you are not afraid to develop something from scratch when the going gets tough.
The Drupal modules you create are cleanly written (adhering to good coding standards), with clear attention to reusability while still focusing on speed and flexibility.
When writing pure PHP you’re used to work object oriented, and you have a good knowledge of common PHP frameworks. You’re a fast learner, and can quickly grasp the basics of other APIs (googlemaps, netlog, flickr, twitter, youtube) by browsing through existing sample code. While being a team player, able to work with people from different skillsets (designers, project managers, developers), you are also mature enough to schedule your own workload, do estimations and set priorities. Work is usually done in-house (Genk). Occasionally you might have a short assignment at the customer’s offices.
We offer you an exciting job, where your personal input and initiative is most definitely appreciated and where you can make a difference! You will also receive an attractive salary package which will be completed with several benefits.
You can make a difference in a company where everyone shares the same vision. We are strictly bound by the No Assholes rule
